PVA emulsions are widely applied in woodworking, packaging, and paper coatings due to their non-toxic nature and strong bonding properties. Another major use is in ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers, which are essential for foam materials, solar panel encapsulation, and footwear. VAM also serves as an intermediate for polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), used in textile sizing and water-soluble films. Emerging applications include redispersible powders for dry-mix mortars in construction.
