Safety and Storage
While SA-2533 is generally safe to handle, precautions should be taken during fabrication processes. Grinding or welding may produce fumes containing chromium and nickel compounds, requiring local exhaust ventilation and respiratory protection where adequate ventilation cannot be maintained. For storage, materials should be kept in their original packaging until use to prevent surface contamination. Indoor storage is recommended to avoid pitting corrosion from chloride-containing environments. When stored outdoors, protective coverings should be used.
