Overview
Heat-resistant grade polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic renowned for its ability to retain mechanical properties at elevated temperatures (up to 220°C). Developed in the 1970s, PPS combines the rigidity of engineering plastics with the processability of thermoplastics. Its molecular structure, featuring aromatic rings linked by sulfur atoms, grants exceptional thermal and chemical stability.
