Safety and Storage
Materials must be stored horizontally on wooden sleepers to prevent deformation, with protective end caps to avoid mechanical damage. Indoor storage is preferred; outdoor storage requires waterproof wrapping and regular inspection for rust. Stack height should not exceed manufacturer recommendations (typically 3-4 layers). Welding requires low-hydrogen electrodes and preheating to 100-150°C to prevent cold cracking. Post-weld heat treatment may be necessary for thick-walled pipes. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) should be consulted for cutting and grinding operations due to potential alloy metal fume exposure.
