NSS60601 is a super austenitic stainless steel alloy designed for extreme environments. It belongs to the 6Mo family of stainless steels, which are known for their superior corrosion resistance compared to standard 300-series alloys. The primary use of NSS60601 is in chemical processing equipment exposed to aggressive media, including sulfuric and phosphoric acid environments. The oil and gas industry utilizes this alloy for downhole tubing, valves, and fittings in sour gas service.
