Overview
Metallocene Polyethylene (mPE) is a high-performance polyethylene variant synthesized using metallocene catalysts, which enable precise control over polymer microstructure. This results in materials with narrow molecular weight distribution, enhanced mechanical properties, and improved optical clarity compared to conventional Ziegler-Natta catalyzed polyethylene. mPE is particularly valued in industries requiring thin, strong, and heat-sealable films. Its uniform polymer chains contribute to reduced extractables, making it suitable for food contact and medical applications.
