Medium Flow PC is a grade of polycarbonate engineered to balance viscosity and mechanical performance during injection molding. Its moderate melt flow rate (typically 10–30 g/10 min per ASTM D1238) ensures efficient cavity filling while maintaining structural integrity. Pre-drying at 120°C for 4 hours is essential to prevent hydrolysis during processing. Moisture content should be <0.02% to avoid surface defects. Store pellets in sealed containers with desiccants. Molten PC can release trace bisphenol A (BPA)—adequate ventilation and NIOSH-approved respirators are recommended for extended exposure.
