Overview
Injection molding grade polyester elastomer (TPE-E) is a block copolymer combining rigid polyester segments with flexible polyether or polyester soft segments. This structure delivers a unique balance of toughness, elasticity, and processability, making it suitable for precision-molded parts. Unlike conventional rubbers, TPE-E can be processed using standard thermoplastic equipment, reducing production costs. Safety and Storage
While TPE-E is non-hazardous under normal conditions, molten processing requires ventilation to manage potential fumes. Use nitrile gloves to prevent static-induced pellet scattering during handling. Storage recommendations include sealed moisture-barrier bags with desiccants. Prolonged exposure to humidity (>50% RH) can cause hydrolysis during processing. Pellets should be dried at 80–100°C for 2–4 hours before molding to prevent surface defects.
