Overview
Injection molding grade PEI (Polyetherimide) resin is an amorphous, high-performance thermoplastic that combines excellent thermal properties with mechanical strength and dimensional stability. Developed initially for aerospace applications, this engineering plastic has found widespread use in demanding industrial applications where conventional plastics fail. Prior to processing, drying at 150°C for 4-6 hours is typically required to prevent surface defects in molded parts caused by absorbed moisture.
