High-temperature threadlocker is an engineered adhesive designed to prevent threaded fasteners from loosening under extreme heat and vibration. Safety and Storage
Uncured product is classified as flammable liquid (Flash point ~50°C). Storage requires cool, dry conditions away from ignition sources. Opened containers should be purged with nitrogen to prevent premature curing. Cured material is non-hazardous, but machining or grinding treated fasteners generates inhalable particles - use local exhaust ventilation. For cleanup before curing, acetone or specialized cleaners are effective. Always consult SDS for specific first aid measures regarding eye/skin contact.
