Copolyester plastic raw material is a modified form of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) where glycol modifiers like cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) are incorporated into the polymer chain. While generally recognized as safe, processing at high temperatures (>280°C) may release trace acetaldehyde. Adequate ventilation is advised in manufacturing environments. The material is not classified as hazardous under GHS standards. Storage requires moisture-proof packaging with desiccants to prevent hydrolysis. Pallets should be kept away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Shelf life typically exceeds 12 months when stored below 30°C with relative humidity under 50%.
