Overview
Antistatic ABS is a modified acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) polymer incorporating conductive fillers or antistatic agents. This engineering plastic retains ABS's favorable mechanical properties while providing controlled static dissipation, making it essential for applications where electrostatic discharge (ESD) could damage sensitive components. The material is typically produced by compounding ABS with carbon fibers, carbon black, or organic antistatic additives.
